Fall-Off-The-Bone Chicken



   All-time favorite chicken recipe. Fall-Off-The-Bone Chicken is the one poultry recipe which does not require a lot of effort to make. No chef skills required either. But the results will make you keep this recipe handy at all times. Because the fall-of-the-bone meat is so flavorful and juicy. This chicken thighs recipe will be on your home menu planner for a very long time.

   The four and a half pounds of chicken will save you time on prepping food during the busy weekdays. But if you have a large family it will be a great main dish for all. Furthermore, if you have any leftovers, you can shred the chicken and add it to your favorite salad or any grain of your choice. So first of all, the rub for this chicken recipe is a very simple and easy to make. Mix all of the required ingredients and apply it to the chicken. Marinate it for a couple of hours and then bake it. Cover chicken over with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Then remove the foil (caution, it’s hot) and cook for another two hours or until golden brown. That is it.

Fall-Off-The-Bone Chicken

INGREDIENTS

4.5 lbs. Drumsticks and Thighs or Leg Quarters
3 tbsp. Ketchup
3 tbsp. Greek Yogurt
1 medium sliced Onion
1 pinch natural Seasoning Blend
*including onion, garlic, celery and parsley
1 pinch Sea Salt, Pepper, Red Crushed Pepper, Oregano

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Mix all ingredients and apply rub to chicken.
3. Marinate the chicken at least a few hours in the refrigerator.
4. When ready, cover the tray with foil and bake for 1 hour.
5. After that carefully remove foil and bake another 2 more hours or until golden brown and a minimum internal temperature of 165 F or greater as measured by a meat thermometer.
