Quinoa has been around for thousands of years, but it was recently introduced to our table. It is a grain crop with editable seeds which usually are harvested by hand because of its high irregularity in maturing ability. But some managed to grow different varieties of quinoa which is closer to their maturity period and can be harvested by special machinery for such a small grain. The quinoa seeds can be cooked in the similar way that you cook rice or buckwheat grains. But it takes less time because it’s a smaller size grain. We suggest that you read the packaging information for cooking instructions. It is very easy to prepare without a lot of cooking experience.

We would like to hear from you about this wonderful salad with awesome summer flavors from Food For Your Good test kitchen.
