Recipe Yield: 9-12 brownies

INGREDIENTS

For the Brownies:

½ cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 large eggs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder

For the Chocolate Frosting:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp heavy cream
½ tsp vanilla extract

For Decoration:
4 oz white chocolate, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat & prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.

2. Make the brownie batter: In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until a thick batter forms.

3. Bake the brownies: Spread the batter evenly into the pan and bake for 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let brownies cool completely before frosting.

4. Prepare the frosting: Beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, and vanilla together until smooth and fluffy.

5. Frost & Cut: Once cooled, remove the brownies from the pan and spread chocolate frosting evenly over the top. For a classic look, slice into squares, or use a heart-shaped cookie cutter if you’d like to create festive brownie hearts.

6. Decorate with white chocolate: Melt white chocolate and transfer it to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small cut in the corner. Draw delicate white chocolate hearts on top of each brownie.

7. Let set & serve: Allow the white chocolate to set before serving. Enjoy these adorable and decadent Love Brownies with your loved ones!

Helpful Tips to Perfect This Recipe
