Overnight Slow Cooker Oatmeal




   Cook your breakfast while you sleep and wake up to the wonderful smell of Overnight Slow Cooker Oatmeal. Hot and ready to serve breakfast at your fingertips. What can be better than that? Well, what if we tell you that you can choose your favorite fruits or fruit toppings in this recipe. Apples, strawberries, blueberries or peaches… this list can go on and on. Because there are so many variations, you will never get tired of this breakfast. This one will stay at the top of your breakfast favorite list for a long time. If you like you can eliminate the sugar in this recipe if you wish. All that you have to do is add all of the ingredients in this recipe into your crockpot, cover and cook for seven to eight hours. An excellent breakfast waiting for you every morning! Can’t get better than that.

   Oatmeal is created from oat groats that can be either crushed, ground, rolled or steel-cut. It is such a versatile grain that it can be used in varieties of dishes like porridge, breakfast bars, pies, cookies, muffins etc. The list is endless. The possibilities are limitless.

Overnight Slow Cooker Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS

3 cups skinned and cubed Granny Smith Apple;
or Whole Strawberry; or any of your favorite fruits
1/2 cup finely chopped Walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup organic Cane Sugar
1 pinch Sea Salt
3 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tbsp. Vanilla
3 cups Oats
7 cups Water

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix all dry ingredients together and then add water.
2. Cook in the slow cooker for at least 7-8 hours on low.
