Let’s just say it—coleslaw is one of those side dishes that fits almost any meal. Apple Coleslaw brings a fresh twist to the classic with crisp cabbage, sweet apples, and a light, creamy dressing. It’s perfect for barbecue nights, alongside fried chicken, or served with almost any grilled meat or hearty grain.
This quick salad comes together in under 15 minutes using simple ingredients you likely already have on hand. Apple Coleslaw is made with Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise, creating a lighter, creamy dressing that keeps the flavors fresh and balanced.
For the best texture and flavor, freshly shredded cabbage works beautifully. However, we created this speedy version using a convenient coleslaw mix to help save time during busy weeknights or when you need a quick side dish.
Coleslaw is enjoyed around the world with countless variations—different vegetables, dressings, and flavor combinations. One thing remains the same: finely shredded cabbage is always at the heart of a great coleslaw.
