Creamy honey yogurt dip topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a delicate drizzle of honey.

Red, White & Blue Honey Yogurt Dip is creamy, lightly tangy, and just sweet enough to feel like dessert. Whole-milk Greek yogurt keeps the dip fresh and bright, while cream cheese gives it a smooth, luxurious texture. Honey, vanilla, and a little lemon zest bring everything together without overpowering the berries.

Best of all, this easy fruit dip takes only a few minutes to prepare. After a short chill, it becomes thick, fluffy, and perfect for scooping with strawberries, graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels. Fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries create the festive red, white, and blue finish.

It is a natural choice for Fourth of July celebrations, summer cookouts, and casual gatherings. Still, it is simple enough to make whenever a bowl of berries needs something especially delicious beside it.

Recipe Yield: 6 servings

INGREDIENTS

4 oz block-style cream cheese, fully softened
1 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt, cold
1/2 cup sliced strawberries, patted dry
1/2 cup fresh blueberries, patted dry
3 tbsp honey, divided
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
1/8 tsp fine sea salt
Graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or apple slices, for serving

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Smooth the cream cheese:
Using a hand mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth and fluffy, about 1 minute.

2. Add the flavorings:
Add 2 tbsp honey, vanilla, lemon zest, and salt. Beat until creamy and evenly combined, about 30 seconds.

3. Mix in the Greek yogurt:
Add the cold Greek yogurt in two additions, mixing on low just until smooth after each. Scrape the bowl as needed, but avoid overmixing.

4. Chill the dip:
Spoon the dip into a shallow serving bowl and gently swirl the top. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes, until chilled and scoopable.

5. Add the festive topping:
Just before serving, arrange the strawberries and blueberries in the center. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tbsp honey.

6. Serve:
Serve chilled with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pretzels, apple slices, or additional fresh berries.

HELPFUL TIPS TO PERFECT THIS RECIPE

  • Use thick Greek yogurt: Whole-milk Greek yogurt creates the richest, most stable dip. Regular yogurt may make the mixture too loose.
  • Keep the berries dry: After washing the strawberries and blueberries, dry them thoroughly. Excess moisture can collect on the surface of the yogurt dip.
  • Mix the yogurt briefly: Once the Greek yogurt is added, beat only until smooth. Excessive mixing can loosen the dip and reduce its fluffy texture.
